Reader Reviews:Story of a Polish Exile (0/0 people found this helpful)Written by a very gentile and kind author, this book is an absolute must for those wishing to learn about life in pre-1939 Poland, those who are interested about the issue of confinement in Nazi Concentration Camps or learning about construction work on some of London's most popular buildings post-1945 in incredible detail. Written as an autobiography, it is extremely well written with feeling and detailed in such a frank way that is refreshing in todays world. With experiences that will make you smile and at times be on the brink of tears this book is a truly underrated and relatively undiscovered by many who would benefit from the experiences. One truly feels that life is enriched by the writing on the pages and in no way should this comment be understated. A gripping, informative, frank and moving read from the eyes of a true witness to History. CategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
