This book is great, it makes you feel like you've got to read it all at once, but not too fast or it'll be all over and then you can't read it anymore.
It is so good that I stayed up really late to read it and I felt ill for 2 days afterwards through lack of sleep.
It has everything that anyone could ever want to know (apart from Tre's birthday, it has Mike's and Billie-Joe's though!) and it starts from when they were playing gigs in people's basements to the victory of 'American Idiot'.
The only one bad thing that I could say is that all the quotes used are from magazine interviews, so they have to write which magazine, what year and which issue, which gets quite annoying, but the rest of the book is great, so you sorta get over that.

i got this book a while ago and was gripped instantly it tells the tale of how and why the band started and the problems they have been through together. It proves what an amazing band greenday are. I would recommend it to any greenday fan from a person who doesnt even know their names to a person who has loved them since they formed. Great book

I just bought this book for my girlfriend who is really made on greenday. i think she loves tre cool more than me but i can help that. anyway, i really think she will like this book, i also purchased a dvd aswell for her. i hope she has a good birthday,i love her loads. so i thought that this would make a nice gift.

This is a great book full of quotations from articles. There's a lot more to the story than you realise. The pictures are great too and there's a helpful discography in the back. Essential reading for all Green day fans.

Wow! I'm the first one. Cool. So yeah the book is great. I got it for my b-day and read it in like a week. The way it tells the history of how Green Day started is spectacular. It talks about the very begining of when they were all kids, up to the amaizing sucsess of American Idiot. And of course the wonderful journy in between. The pictures in the book are great too. Even if you're a newbie to Green Day and don't even know the band players names, or if you think you know everything about them, you'll learn something new. It's very informative, and entertaining. I'd strongly suggest getting this book if you're a green day fan.
