tick tock (1/1 people found this helpful)For the uninitiated: Sapphire and Steel. Two mysterious and very powerful beings who appear whenever something from outside of reality tries to break in, and prevent this happening. This is the second release in their second series of audio adventures. The sleeve notes from the writer state that he decided to set a story around watchmaking, thinking that the sound of them would be very effective on audio. And he succeeds in that aim. And the less spoiled about this play the better. Episodes two three and four aren't quite as strong as the superbly compelling part one, but this is a gripping and involving audio nonetheless, which will have you hooked to the end to see how it turns out.
The final disc also contains a twenty minute behind the scenes feature looking at the controversy that the fourth release in audio season one, the lighthouse, caused. And believe you me, it did. An interesting little feature. And a decent audio. Similar Products
