This little book contains much material used by the Victorian stage Irish and which has lost a bit through time but there are some gems of wit and imagination which are timeless, written by a sort of Irish Wodehouse. Phil the Fluter, Carmody's Mare, Mountains of Mourne, Whistlin' Phil McHugh, Are ye right there Michael? Well worth having the book to hand for the idle moment when you want cheering up.
