Reader Reviews:The perfect companion to Galileo's Daughter (2/2 people found this helpful)I loved Dava Sobel's Galileo's Daughter - equally as good and pacey as Longitude and this collection of letters is the perfect companion. The letters are sumptuously laid out on facing pages in the original Italian and translation and are not the dry correspondance that you might expect - rather they breath further life into the relationship that Sobel has articulated. Sobel's intro really puts over her excitement at delving into their lives - one so famous, the other, until recently, all but forgotten. This is going to be a Christmas gift for several of my friends and family. For anyone that was drawn in by Galileo's daughter this is a must.
