Having recieved this book on Christmas I was eagerly anticipating having a wee moment to myself and hoping it would follow the steps of 'Tom Shields Too!'. However, examing the relatively inferior thickness to the other three books of this series shows the humour is running a bit thin for veteran readers.
Nevertheless, diarist Shields still has the wit and biting humour to make this still a worthwhile read. In addition, there are still the photographs that this series is well-known for.
First time readers will be immensly pleased, though, and will probably lead to investigation of previous titles!
Topics covered in the book are, as usual, diverse, and include 'The Evitification of Diana' and American Politics. Veteran readers will be disappointed to learn this is Shelds' last installment of the series
Overall, a worthwhile purchase and addition to anyone's bookshelf.
