This book is an eyeopenning account of one persons opinion on the Balkan problems, the things he feels bonds its people together and that seperated them. The author writes in a wonderfully eloquent style which really makes you feel like you are in a coversation with him, like you have lived and travelled through the area like he has. His points he argues humbley and is always balanced in his criticism, always trying to be positive. As a British man working in Slovenija and wanting to find out a little on the problems the Balkans have suffered, this book has been very informing and thought provoking and i hope to read something else by the author soon!
