It has its shortcomings - no audio tape (it is virtually impossible to learn Ukranian without hearing it), far too little romanisation so you are expected to read Ukranian already in the first chapter, and too many changes in typefaces (the Cyrillic characters look different in different typefaces). This book may be fine in a class situation, but not as a Teach Yourself.
