OK, it has quite a few spelling and grammatical errors, but the content is what is important. Oglesby and Herold put together their real life experiences to give a complete overview on ESX Server in production environments. The things you really need to know, the storage side, the networking, the gotchas etc... are all (well mostly)in here. Of course you could glean all this information from whitepapers, manuals and administration guides but I prefer to read this. It doesn't have much in the way of illustration, but as the authors mention, this gives them more space to put useful information.
I wouldn't recommend this book to someone studying solely to pass the VMware VCP exam but if you are serious about installing ESX in a production environment, then this book is a must.

overall covered everything I wanted to know. However, this addation already has over 50 errors recorded. Including a whole page missing. Lots of silly gramatical errors and a few technical errors.

This is a must get book for all folk out there who are interested in ESX VMWARE and virtualisation as a whole. I find the subject matter really detailed and to the point. I would recommend this book both for beginners and experts in the virtualisation industry.
