Voice Over IPv6: Architectures for Next Generation VoIP Networks

Gives you a great detailed intro to SIP, to the surrounding technologies, to IPv6, and then draws conclusions. Very useful book, well written, concise, but comprehensive. Very much a technical persons book for the most part. However, the projections of how the industry and technology could develop are based on a wealth of experience the author has gained throughout a distinguished career, and I (as someone that would consider being smarter than the average bear, when it comes to this industry), picked up quite a few new ways of looking at where VoIP, and the underlying transport protocols, is headed.
