Fantastic and unique book for Grannies and Mums (1/1 people found this helpful)
I bought this book right after it was published. It's a must have not just for grannies but mums too like me. The activities described in the book are so simple and they remind us that we CAN engage and have fun with our children without damaging our wallets or losing our sanity. (Think... an expensive day out in Legoland, loud and hypnotic games on the Playstation or Wii, children's dvds which can cost more than £10 and end up only watched once or heading off to a fun fair which can be anything but with all the loud noise and flashy rides) Don't get me wrong. It's not just the expense and stress levels I am talking about for grandparents and parents. The ideas in the Granny book really remind us that it is possible to spend quality time with our children while teaching them how to appreciate the most simple things in life. Highly recommended and great item for the Christmas shopping list.
