* At the start of the book the author lays out the postitional ideas and strategies of this opening. Also the themes of combinative attackes from typical positional taht can result from the opening are described with examples from games.
* All major variations of the Dragon are elaborated with examples from games.
* 5 stars because this is not just a whole bunch of variations to memorize but explainations based on strategic ideas along with practical example narrated with passion.
* Great book for some one who wants to start playing the Dragon as well as for experienced Dragon players.

I found this book invaluable while preparing for tournaments. Chris Ward succeeds in providing a range of tactical and positional outcomes common to most Dragon games. He presents his ideas in such a way that reams of theory need not be learnt, whilst the level of analysis remains at grandmaster level. This fantastic sequel is enough to convert any 'boring' player to the strategic niceties of the Dragon.
