Reader Reviews:Excellent (2/2 people found this helpful)* At the start of the book the author lays out the postitional ideas and strategies of this opening. Also the themes of combinative attackes from typical positional taht can result from the opening are described with examples from games. Outstanding coverage of a razor-sharp variation (2/4 people found this helpful)I found this book invaluable while preparing for tournaments. Chris Ward succeeds in providing a range of tactical and positional outcomes common to most Dragon games. He presents his ideas in such a way that reams of theory need not be learnt, whilst the level of analysis remains at grandmaster level. This fantastic sequel is enough to convert any 'boring' player to the strategic niceties of the Dragon.
