This is an excellent introduction to the subject of World Music for young people. Each of twelve acts are given a double page spread of information and pictures, all brightly coloured, clear and informative. A surprising amount of detail is packed into the relatively short space allocated to each individual or band. The display of text and illustration is strikingly set on a dark ground, very eye-catching indeed.
