should be your next stop for getting a feel for the country, regions,
and what it has
to offer.

(bus/train) info in the Czech Republic. Click on English flag to
get display in English - remember to use Czech names for places, eg

independent hostels in the Czech Republic, note all prices

- “The Prison” hotel/hostel,
in Prague (Unitas Pension). This place is amazing! President
Vaclav Havel was once
incarcerated
in
a cell here—and many of the “cells” (now rooms) still have the big locks and
peepholes in the doors. Slightly haunting, but excellent central location and
good breakfast. Attached to a very nice hotel next door, “Cloister Inn” which
is great too.
- Sir Toby’s hostel, a highly recommended and reasonably priced youth
hostel in Prague. Owned by Christians, some staff are Christians, certainly
very friendly, nice rooms, close to transport.
- Information on
Bohemia,
the area we live in. Click on the 2nd link down, “Ceskobudejovicky”,
to get to the info about Ceske Budejovice.
