Characters

2 or 4 people (either 1 or 2 pairs), 1 Jesus figure, 1 narrator.

Narrator should be a good reader with an expressive voice—otherwise the whole thing becomes dirge-like. Simple costumes, eg white or black t-shirts.

See here for further instructions and a guide to the mime itself.

Sound track

We have a Czech sound track, prepared for a younger audience, available for download here (2.8 MB, mp3). Note that this was prepared for an audience of teenagers, and includes backing from Linkin Park and Iona. This kind of sound track may frighten older folks!

This sketch has been performed to many different styles of music, from classical to contemporary Christian. Due to the timing of the text and the desire to synchronise particular actions (such as hammer blow sound effects), it's often performed with live backing. Use your imagination when selecting a music style!
