Finally (1/1 people found this helpful)

Finally there is a book on Eritrea that provides a factual and informed overview of probably one of the least understood countries of the world. These essays provide the average interested reader, as well as expert scholars, with a valuable and in depth picture of the country. This book provides important and previously unavailable background information to one of the countries that has an is increasingly important role in the fate of the horn of Africa.

At last a book that explains what Eritrea is doing! (0/0 people found this helpful)

This excellent collection of essays really helped me to get some understanding of what has been drivng Eritrea's seemingly eratic and counterproductive apraoch to the rest of the world. I'd really recomend this book for anyone wanting to gain a deeper understanding of this fascinating country.
